I know it can be tough sometimes, but try to find joy in what you do. Life is hard enough without complications, so why not enjoy work! Here is a pic of some of my employees.....judging from this picture, they've never seen a day of stress in their lives! ;)
They don't know stress because of all the tea they're allowed to drink on this job. No doubt about it. --Spirituality of Tea

Yeah, i agree with Jason! They're not like most employees who drink coffee, they get to drink tea and that stimulates their alpha brain waves like you said, improving mental health and causing good spirits. Since starting school again this fall (I'm in college), I've been drinking a single cup of coffee most mornings. I've been trying to get back off the coffee, but not succeeding very well. I'd much rather have tea...how would you reccommend weaning myself from a small cup of coffee to a few cups of tea? Should I go for high quality bagged black tea first thing in the morning for convenience and then later in the day I can have looseleaf in my infuser mug? Though right now I'm nowhere near as caffine addicted as when I worked as a cashier at a bakery/cafe...my shift started at 6 and I lived half an hour away...I was getting up at 4:30 and having two cups of coffee with breakfast and then another cup at work. But your employees probably don't start until 7 or 8 (I don't know your hours becasue I live halfway across the country), so they only need the energizing tea to get them started. Me, when I have to get up really early I can't do without the coffee. I know that I was secretly really crabby on the massive amounts of coffee, even though I couldn't show how grumpy I was to anyone. Like you absolutely can't be rude to a customer, and my fellow cashiers and the baker and the short order cook would've complained to the boss if I had made it remotely evident what a terrible mood I was in. Anyway, I can tell how happy your staff is to be working for you. Wish I could work a job like that! If I move out to your area after graduation I'll definitely be a frequent customer!

Katherine, you might want to try pu-erh tea. It's quite stimulating though it's not the highest in caffeine. Many people have weaned themselves off coffee with pu-erh tea. A good way to start is with mini tuo cha, little bowl shapes. That way there's easy portion control. --Teaternity

Hi Jason, I had bought some tuocha to try but I have not learned to like pu-erh yet. It still tastes like dirt to me and makes me gag a little. So I didn't bring any with me to school, and I've been thinking of just giving away my package of pu-erh. But thanks for the advice anyway.

Hello, Katherine!
If Puerh is too strong of a flavor for you, I recommend you try my ancient blend (available through phone purchase only). This is a mixture of Ancient Puerh and Ancient Tea Tree Black tea. The Tea Tree takes away a lot of the strong flavor the puerh provides...it's actually quite pleasant! I also recommend Matcha powder, Coffee oolong tea or kings tea oolong (which is coated in ginseng). Any of these is great for a quick/long-lasting boost of energy! Also, check out next week's specials as your favorite (plum oolong) will be available at an unbelievable price!..
Much Love & Light,
Mark...dr. tea!
